Mother's Day is coming up - need a gift idea?
While I would LOVE if you ordered a bouquet or arrangement from me, there are many things you could give to your mom to show your appreciation! Besides flowers, my top picks for Mother's Day would be the following:
Balloon Bouquet
Chocolate
Hand-Made Card/Drawing/Painting (moms love these things!)
Take her for brunch
Gift basket of her favourite things
Bath/shower goodies - soap, bath bomb, candle
Jewellery
Many of the above items can be purchased locally as well! If you are in the Edmonton area, there are local restaurants putting on brunch buffets, high teas, and more. As for chocolates, bath/shower goodies, jewellery, and gift baskets - there are many local markets on over the weekends, and some during the week that can be checked out. Instagram is a great way to find local markets with small businesses offering great gift items. (Hint: if you are not artistic yourself and want something handmade, these markets are a gold mine!)
To the left is one of the arrangements that we worked together with a local balloon artist on! Ariana from boomballoon.ca is so creative. She creates the beautiful bubble balloon with glitter, ribbon, butterflies and a "Happy Mother's Day" decal. I do the flowers that are sitting below and it creates a stunning statement for your mom. (She also does balloon bouquets if you are looking for something unique!)
