Graduation Bouquets - Presentation Style

I graduated over a decade ago, and I am starting to feel "old" and "out-of-touch" with the kids these days. I remember when it was a corsage for a wrist or a boutonniere to pin on a chest. Now it has evolved to bouquets that are simply for a "insta-worthy" photo op! These are typically used for the cap and gown day, unlike the corsage and boutonniere that are used for the dinner/banquet/dance portion of graduation. As long as the flowers are taken home, given a fresh cut and put in water after the photos have been taken, they can last another week after!

Now, don't get me wrong - these bouquets are stunning and so are the photos that come from it! But we need some lead time over here at the shop. A few days is great if you just need a specific colour scheme, but if you want to get real specific (needing a certain flower in a certain colour) we need at least 10 days notice, and sometimes maybe more! After all, grad season is wedding season and you are now competing with brides for those pinterest-worthy florals.

When it comes to budget, they are not a bad place to be! This is considering what I am hearing from most parents these days - spray tans, professional hair & make-up services, $600+ dresses, new shoes, handbags and more. These bouquets start in the $80 range Dressed to Impress Bouquet shown above is at that price point, at the time of this post. The price all depends on the price of the flowers you request, as well as the size of the bouquet.

These wraps don't come together in 5 minutes or less, nor do we have them sitting in the shop ready to go. Without a water source, it is not feasible for us to have them sitting in our cooler to slowly shrivel up. If you are thinking you want to snag something beautiful like this, give us a call at least 10-14 days ahead to time, to ensure we can ear-mark these flowers for you/or order them in if they are not available!
