Custom Bridal Bouquet Spotlight

This week I wanted to do a breakdown of a bridal bouquet I had made a few weeks back. I feel this bouquet is a great example of putting the trust in the professionals hands! This bride came to me completely unsure of what she wanted, not an inspo pic to be seen. I had shown her some on my Instagram page, as well as some on my phone and Pinterest. Nothing had quite caught her eye completely, but she had some she liked.

Fast forward to a message on Instagram later in the day of a bouquet we had already looked at together from my page. She wanted to add pink to it, but was hesitant how pink, blue and white would look together. Truth be told, that combo is one of my favourite colour combos! I assured her it would look just fine - and by the time the bouquet was done - I was so happy with it.

You will notice the delphinium (long blue flower with many small blooms near top of bouquet) in this bouquet have way larger blooms and look so much nicer than normal. They are locally grown in Canada, and tend to look nicer than the imported delphiniums. I used Playa Blanca roses, which are my go-to white rose for wedding work. I used light pink mini carnations, as well as a standard blue hydrangea. For greenery I used parvifolia eucalyptus, and Italian ruscus.

I was not in the shop when she came to pick up - but she went out of her way to message me and let me know she loved her bouquet. As long as the bride is happy - I am happy. There is no part of my job that makes me happier than a happy bride!
