Back To School Flowers

Updated: Nov 18, 2021

Kids are headed back to school! As much fun as I am sure you had this summer, I bet you’re also grateful for the teachers and administrators that take care of them during the school year. If there has been one big lesson we have learned during COVID, it’s how valuable teachers are to all of us; not just our kids. So why not give your child’s teacher a back to school thank you, in the form of flowers?

Consider the entire staff

Your child might have a favourite teacher that deserves a beautiful bouquet to proudly display on their desk. However, there are a whole host of administrators and staff that make their education (and your childcare needs) possible. While you don’t have to thank absolutely everyone with flowers, consider all the staff that have made a difference.

Team Colours

Have a coach or a special teacher that is a loyal supporter of your kid’s team? Why not gift them with flowers in the team colours? This is also a great gift for front office staff, as they can display the bouquet in the office for everyone to enjoy.

Bright and Cheerful

Wouldn’t it be nice for your child’s favourite teacher to look at their desk and see something bright and cheerful every morning, to put them in the right frame of mind to teach? Sunflowers, gerbera daisies, and colourful carnations are all great ideas. What educator could stop themselves from smiling if they received the Be Happy Bouquet?

Consider a plant

If a bouquet doesn’t seem like the right fit, why not consider a plant? You want to give them something that is easy to care for – maybe a cactus or an air plant. You don’t want them to take care of one more thing – you want them to have something that lasts a long time to honour the lasting effects of their hard work.

Back to school is a busy time for parents, but it is also a busy time for educators and administrators. A plant or some flowers can go a long way to show them how much you appreciate all that they do to keep your children safe and prepare them for the future.
